The Story

Munir Abdullahi is a Backend + ML Engineer with a strong background in software engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, and systems engineering. He graduated with First Class Honors in Mechatronics Engineering from Bayero University Kano, where he actively contributed to technology communities including Data Science Nigeria, Google Developers Student Club, and Ingressive for Good.

Professionally, Munir has worked across backend engineering, machine learning, and technical writing roles for startups and technology platforms within Africa’s growing tech ecosystem. He currently works as a Software Engineer at OjaNow, building scalable backend systems and contributing to software-driven innovation.

Beyond engineering, Munir is deeply passionate about robotics, autonomous systems, and emerging technologies. He continuously explores topics around ROS2, robotic manipulation, AI systems, and applied machine learning while sharing learning resources with the wider developer community.

Munir also has extensive experience in technical communication, having written developer-focused articles and documentation for companies like Strapi and Gradehive AI. His writing focuses on simplifying complex engineering concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
